We really enjoyed the history of the place. Everyone should make a point to stop in, especially cause it was very affordable
Delightful surprise
Visited during the Native-American month with a guide and for free! We happily gave a donation to this small but well maintained site.
This is true history
Awesome field trip. The tour guides are amazing. I highly recommend sunwatch. The kids had a wonderful time and learned a lot.
Historical archeological museum today everyone can learn from. It's a great opportunity for a stay at home moms to bring their kids to have an educational experience. I would highly suggest this museum for home schoolers as well. Perhaps this location would team up with the Tourism Industry for group/corporate events.
Great history lesson provided by short 10min video
It was super fascinating. I was told by the boonshoft cashiers that admission was covered by our boonshoft tickets which was not true but the price wasn't bad ($13 for an adult and child). It is a unique link to history which we enjoyed. I appreciated that everyone was kind and answered my inquisitive 4 year old's questions. I wish the signs were better kept outside as some we were not able to read. It's almost handicap/stroller accessible as most of the lower path is rocks.
Small museum with outdoor viewing of Indian homes, vegetable garden. Nice walking path in the village. They have a small gift shop with t shirts, books, stuffed animals and more. Plans to spend about an hour and a half here or longer. They also have picnic tables under a pavilion.
